For a broad acceptance of the corset in our time, it’s especially important that ladies can wear usual and everyday clothes with their corsets on. In the following I will present some suggestions how to wear corsets under normal clothes. The series of examples is to be continued.

Please note that everyday wear is often bulky, so that the corset has to be laced rather tightly for the small waist to show.

Here, the 19 inch corset looks quite small because the dress is made of thin material and thus doesn’t add a lot.

Here I’m wearing the leather corset with a body, wide belt and crinkle skirt. Although the corset is quite tight (18 inch) the silhoutte does not look exaggerated.

Here, I’m wearing the leather corset, laced to about 18 inches (measured on top of the corset) under a flowered dress. Then there is a black lacing leather belt - waistline: 17 inches - which makes the dress fit neatly in the waist region. This makes the waist even smaller. The push up effect of the corset is clearly visible.

Clochard jeans go very well with a corset, because you can perfectly waist the pants with a tight belt and the high waistband emphasizes the waist even better.

This outfit is perfectly suitable for everyday wear, not flashy, but dramatic in the effect of the waist. The belt can be tightened quite firmly, then it and the pants do not wear much.

I can also wear these pants with a 17 inch corset and they also give a great effect with a 19 inch corset.

This seems like a normal daytime outfit until you see the waistline and start to wonder.
