These elastic corsets are both from True Grace Corsets (TGC). They are elastic above and below the waist. At the waist there is a rigid band which produces the necessary pressure to form the waist.

On one hand the elastic material allows for deeper breathing, but on the other hand it produces a never ending pressure towards a small figure. If the body is relaxed, e.g. when sleeping, these corsets constantly decrease the body measurements. So it is ideal for training.

In principle, you could also bathe with such a corset. This is what some women do. But I think that this is not beneficial to the life of the corset. I always take off my corsets for showering. The short unlaced time has no negative effect on the waist training.

I received this elastic corset as a loan. It was made for a figure with much larger bust and hip circumferences. Therefore, it was too wide on me there. But the waist is very narrow and the waist to hip ratio is dramatic.

You can see the severe narrowing of the waist and the pressure of the corset in this area. Above and below it is rather comfortable.

This corset was also worn with the Clochard-Jeans (see below). But here the waist reduction can be seen much more clearly.

The strong lacing of the waist is well visible. Also the advantage of high heels to optimize posture with corset.

The same 17 inch corset as on the preceding picture but with raised arms. This lifts the ribcage and you can clearly see the moulding of the lower ribs.

Side view; here you can see that the stomach is completely flat. The corset has to be as tightly as in the picture and needs a relatively long period of training, but is aesthetically pleasing.
